  3. <hi style=afpcap>One of two Fairchild NC-123K Providers which were modified for the highly classified special forces Project Black Spot in Vietnam between 1968 and 1970. The role of the project was that of night interdiction and reconnaissance. The two aircraft were temporarily placed in storage with MASDC at Davis Monthan AFB, Arizona in 1970 until the late Summer of 1973 when they were transferred to the Royal Thai Air Force.</hi>
